New Delhi/Chandigarh, September 1, 2026: Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a scathing attack on Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi for his tirade against Indian economy and said that some people were spreading ‘‘Jhooth Ki Goonj’’ in the country.
He lauded growth rate of 7.8 percent of Indian economy from April to June this financial year. He said that people of the country have contributed immensely for growth of the nation but some people spreading lies.
