Trident Group honoured with Yoga Sangam Patra for International Yoga Day 2026 event

Barnala (Punjab), June 24, 2026: Trident Group has been honoured with the prestigious Yoga Sangam Patra by the Ministry of Ayush, Government of India, for successfully organising a large-scale Yoga Sangam programme in Barnala on the occasion of International Day of Yoga 2026.
According to the company, the event witnessed the enthusiastic participation of more than 600 individuals, reflecting growing awareness about the importance of yoga and healthy living. The recognition was awarded in appreciation of Trident Group’s efforts to promote health, wellness and community engagement through yoga.
Expressing gratitude on receiving the honour, Trident Group thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his leadership in promoting yoga as a way of life and encouraging its adoption across the country. The company also acknowledged the support of Prataprao Jadhav, Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for the Ministry of Ayush and Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare, for his efforts in advancing the vision of a healthier India through yoga.
The initiative was led by Rajinder Gupta, Rajya Sabha Member of Parliament, Padma Shri awardee and Chairman of Trident Group India, who has been actively associated with promoting social welfare and community-driven initiatives. Vice Chairman Abhishek Gupta was also associated with the programme.
The company stated that the recognition reinforces its commitment to promoting health, harmony and holistic well-being within communities. Trident Group said it will continue supporting initiatives that encourage physical fitness, mental wellness and social well-being.
The International Day of Yoga is observed annually on June 21 and has become a global movement promoting physical, mental and spiritual wellness through the practice of yoga.
