Aumento 1.0 Tech Fest celebrated at CGC, Landran

Chandigarh, April 11, 2025: Chandigarh College of Technology, CGC Landran, celebrated the 2-day tech fest ‘Aumento 1.0.
It was inaugurated today by Dr. Dapinder Kaur Bakshi (Joint Director, Punjab State Council for Science and Technology, Chandigarh) and Dr. Richi V. Mahajan (Scientist D, Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science and Technology, Govt. of India) and presided over by President Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal, Campus Director, and Director Principal Dr Palki Sahib Kaur, Chandigarh College of Technology, Dr. Dapinder Kaur Bakshi inspired the students to enhance their research skills and offered support for various research proposals. She encouraged the students to broaden their knowledge and contribute meaningfully to scientific advancements.
On the other hand, Dr. Richi V. Mahajan urged the students to think critically about research and its real-world applications, especially considering the challenges faced by the common man.
The Aumento 1.0 Tech Fest organized by the Chandigarh College of Technology turned out to be an extraordinary event packed with inspiration, innovation, and interaction! From the compelling talks by key figures in science and technology to the panel discussions on sustainability and practical solutions, the fest truly ignited curiosity and critical thinking among participants.
The Startup Expo, showcasing innovative ventures, added yet another layer of energy to the event, fostering entrepreneurial zeal.
It was great to see young minds being encouraged to think beyond conventional boundaries, contribute to societal betterment, and embrace creativity and technical brilliance.Events like these surely leave a lasting impression on participants and pave the way for future breakthroughs.
Anmol Kwatra (Public Figure, Podcaster, and Founder of EkZaria Foundation - NGO) and Mr. Mac Singh (COO and Founder of Fitello) inspired the students to contribute to the betterment of society.
They emphasized the importance of living a healthy, nourishing lifestyle for personal well-being and the benefit of society at large. With more than 100 students participating, the Aumento event was a grand success, offering a perfect blend of creativity, technical brilliance, and entrepreneurial spirit.
