HR Conclave 2K26 on Humanizing AI organized by CEC-CGC Landran
Mohali, 12 March 2026- The Department of Business Administration (MBA), CEC-CGC Landran, in collaboration with the National Institute of Personnel Management (Punjab Student Chapter), organized HR Conclave 2K26 on the theme, ‘Humanizing AI: Leading a Multi-Generational Workforce in the Digital Era.’ The two-day academic and industry engagement event focused on contemporary HR practices, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and managing a multi-generational workforce. Day one featured an Inter-College Quiz Competition with 25 teams from CGC’s constituent colleges including CEC, CBSA COE and CCT. After multiple rounds which tested the business awareness, HR concepts, and analytical skills of participating students, Team Synergy from CBSA comprising Khushi and Kush, secured the first prize, followed by Team Talent Wizards from CEC comprising Jyoti and Khushi bagging the second prize and Team Desk Buddies from CEC comprising Aditi Pandey and Akiriti, winning the third prize. Winners were conferred trophies, certificates and cash prizes. The second day of the conclave featured an insightful panel discussion on the event’s theme. ‘Humanizing AI: Leading a Multi-Generational Workforce in the Digital Era’, which was preceded by keynote addresses from Mr. Arvind Kumar, Founder & CEO of Interlit Services Pvt. Ltd. and Ms. Shikha Gupta, Head of Learning & Development at Grazitti Interactive. The discussion highlighted how Artificial Intelligence (AI) is reshaping recruitment, performance management, training and decision-making, while emphasizing the continued importance of human skills such as creativity, adaptability and ethical judgment. Students also gained insights into managing a multi-generational workforce and the responsible use of AI as a tool for learning and collaboration. The distinguished panel included Mr. Abhishek Gupta, Associate Director, Digital Consulting, LTI Mindtree; Mr. Vikas Puri, HR Coach and Certified Transformational Coach; and Ms. Aman Ghuman, CHRO, WWICS Global Law Offices Pvt. Ltd. Dr. Sukhpreet Kaur, Director Principal, CEC-CGC Landran, said, “HR Conclave 2K26 reflects our commitment to bridging academia and industry. By engaging with thought leaders on AI and workforce transformation, we are preparing our students to thrive in a future where technology and human values must coexist.’ The conclave was further enriched by the presence of dignitaries from NIPM, including Mr. SP Bansal, Regional Vice President, North NIPM; Mr. Ajay Bakshi, Chairman, North Punjab Chapter; Mr. Ravinder Chadha, Immediate Past Chairperson; Ms. Pooja Nayar, National Council Member; and Ms. Renu R.P. Singh, Past Chairperson. HR Conclave 2K26 successfully combined academic learning with real-world insights, helping CGCians gain a stronger understanding of AI in HR practices, industry expectations and career readiness. It also underscored CGC Landran’s focus on industry-oriented learning aligned with the latest requirements, equipping students with clear conceptual knowledge and nurturing them as future-ready professionals.
