New Delhi, March 6, 2026: The Union Public Service Commission on Friday announced the final results of the Civil Services Examination for 2025, with Anuj Agnihotri securing the first rank in one of the country’s most competitive examinations.
According to the Commission, 958 candidates have been recommended for appointment to various prestigious services of the Government of India, including the Indian Administrative Service, Indian Foreign Service, and Indian Police Service, among others.
Rajeshwari Suve secured the second position, while Akansh Dhull stood third in the nationwide merit list.

The Commission also stated that the candidature of 348 recommended candidates has been kept provisional, pending completion of required formalities.
The Civil Services Examination is conducted every year by UPSC in three stages — Preliminary Examination, Main Examination, and the Personality Test (Interview).
The Main examination for the 2025 cycle was conducted in August 2025, and its results were declared in November 2025, after which shortlisted candidates appeared for the interview round.
