  Chandigarh, January 28, 2026:The Punjab government has granted a one-year service extension to Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) A.K. Pandey as a special case.
  
  According to the official order issued by the Punjab Home Department, ADGP Pandey, who was due to retire on January 31, 2026, will now continue in service from February 1, 2026, to January 31, 2027.
