Breaking: Chandigarh employees announce ‘Pakka Morcha’ from Nov 13

Chandigarh, October 24, 2026: Employee organisations have announced a ‘Pakka Morcha’ in Chandigarh from November 13 to press the government to accept their demands. They have also prepared a district-wise strategy to mobilise employees for the protest.
According to the announced programme, employees from three districts each day will stage a protest outside the Health Department office in Sector 34, Chandigarh, from November 13 to 19.
The organisations have further announced demonstrations against the government from December 1 to 5. A ‘phool’ (memorial tribute) programme will be held on December 6, followed by a large human chain and protest in support of their demands on December 13.
The organisations have said the district-wise allocation of duties has been completed to ensure the smooth conduct of the agitation.
