Breaking: Punjab Govt convenes 3-day Vidhan Sabha session

Chandigarh, October 9, 2026: The Punjab Legislative Assembly will reconvene on October 22, following its adjournment sine die on August 10, 2026.
Speaker Kultar Singh Sandhwan has summoned the House to meet at 11 am on Thursday, October 22, in the Punjab Vidhan Sabha Hall at Vidhan Bhavan, Chandigarh.
The session has been convened under the second proviso to Rule 16 of the Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business in the Punjab Vidhan Sabha. The tentative date-wise programme for the session has also been issued.
