DIET equips school leaders with Gender Inclusion & Leadership Skills
Ferozepur, 21 March 2025: The District Institute of Education and Training Ferozepur organised a comprehensive training session for school leaders, focusing on critical themes of Gender Inclusion and Leadership Skills.
Lecturer Gagandeep Singh, lecturer Gourav Munjal, and lecturer Arti Sachdeva from DIET Ferozepur conducted the session on gender inclusion. They emphasized the importance of creating inclusive learning environments that cater to students’ diverse needs and promote gender equity in schools.
The Piramal Foundation was also invited as a resource partner to facilitate an engaging session on Leadership Skills for School Leaders. Their expert trainers provided valuable insights into effective school leadership, decision-making, and strategies to foster a positive educational ecosystem.
The training was organized under the leadership of Ms Seema, Principal, DIET Ferozepur, who also set the context for the day, emphasizing the significance of empowering school leaders with the right knowledge and skills to create inclusive learning spaces. In her concluding remarks, she appreciated the enthusiastic participation of school leaders and underscored the need for continuous professional development in the education sector. Ms Seema also extended her heartfelt gratitude to the resource persons, including Gagandeep Singh and the Piramal Foundation team, for their valuable contributions in enriching the learning experience of the participants.
