Chandigarh, March 21, 2025: Haryana’s Energy, Transport, and Labour Minister, Anil Vij, launched a scathing attack on former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, claiming that he is now set to ruin Punjab just like Delhi.
Taking a jibe at Kejriwal’s involvement in Punjab politics, Vij remarked, "Jahaan-jahaan pair pade santan ke, vahaan-vahaan bantaadhaar," implying that Kejriwal's influence leads to destruction.
He further expressed doubts about the longevity of Bhagwant Mann’s government in Punjab.
Hooda has a dictatorial tendency-Vij
Reacting to a heated exchange in the Haryana Assembly, Anil Vij accused Congress leader Bhupinder Singh Hooda of authoritarian behavior.
He criticized Hooda for dismissing opposition voices and using undemocratic language such as "I won’t let you speak."
Vij stated that Hooda’s actions undermine parliamentary principles, recalling how he allegedly suppressed opposition voices even during his tenure as Chief Minister.
Addressing Congress’s failure to appoint a Leader of Opposition in Haryana, Vij argued that it exposes the party’s weak decision-making and questions its top leadership’s credibility.
He pointed out that despite having sufficient numbers, Congress has failed to name its legislative leader even after six months, which he sees as evidence of the party’s continued decline.
Haryana's budget is historic: Vij
When asked about the BJP high command’s directive for state ministers to engage with the public, Vij praised Haryana’s latest budget, calling it "one of the best budgets in history."
He highlighted its ₹2 lakh crore allocation for comprehensive development and credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership for its effective planning.
Law and order has collapsed in West Bengal-Vij
Commenting on reports of Aadhaar cards being found scattered on the streets of West Bengal, Vij criticized the Mamata Banerjee-led government, alleging that law and order in the state has completely deteriorated.
He accused the administration of harboring illegal immigrants from Bangladesh and warned that such governance failures will lead to the TMC’s downfall in the next elections.
Vij predicted that the people of West Bengal will overthrow Mamata Banerjee’s government and elect a BJP-led administration to restore democracy and governance.
