Punjab Governor & CM once again at loggerheads: Governor gives ultimatium on queries raised, Mann refuses to obilige

Chandigarh, February 13, 2023: Amid the ongoing tension between Punjab Governor Banwarilal Purohit and Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, the former has once again written a letter to the CM seeking details of the procedure adopted by the Punjab government in sending teachers for training in Singapore.
Hitting out at CM Mann reportedly not responding to any queries raised by him through letters in the past, Governor Purohit said that if the information is not provided within the stipulated time, he will be compelled to take legal advice on the matters.
Only a few hours after the letter of Governor to CM was circulated to media, Bhagwant Mann took to Twitter to respond to the letter.
"Honorable Governor Sir, your letter was received through the media..all the subjects written in the letter are all state subjects...I and my government are accountable to 3 crore Punjabis according to the constitution and not to any governor appointed by the central government.My reply to this understand," tweeted Bhagwant Mann.
