Showkat Ahmed Parray IAS assumes charge as DC of Bathinda on Friday. This is his second time posting in Bathinda. Earlier, too he has served as DC Bathinda for nearly two years and was shifted to Patiala during the Lok Sabha elections.
Considered as one of the best officers of Punjab, he has been brought back due to heavy demand of the citizens including politicians of the area. He is very popular among the all sections of the society, due to his honesty and humbleness.
