Learn and Grow Program : Fazilka DC engages students in governance, promotes awareness and education

Fazilka, July 30, 2024 – In an interactive session at Government Smart High School, Bannawala Hanwant, Deputy Commissioner Dr. Senu Duggal encouraged students to partner with the district administration.
Speaking under the "Learn and Grow" program, Dr. Duggal sought suggestions from students on improving district governance and emphasized the importance of setting goals, self-study, and staying informed through daily news.
Highlighting the district's efforts against drug abuse through the Mission Nasha Mukt Bharat, she also introduced the concept of "Bag Free Day" in government primary schools, aimed at fostering extracurricular activities. Dr. Duggal further encouraged students to use digital platforms like WhatsApp and Meta for educational purposes and to participate in environmental initiatives like tree planting.
The session concluded with a celebratory cake cutting, symbolizing the partnership between the administration and the students.
