Punjab Cabinet Ministers pay obeisance at Gurudwara Baoli Sahib Sri Goindwal Sahib

Goindwal Sahib (Tarn Taran), September 18, 2024: Punjab Cabinet Ministers Laljit Singh Bhullar, Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal and Harbhajan Singh E.T.O. today paid obeisance at Gurudwara Sri Baoli Sahib, Sri Goindwal Sahib during the centenary celebrations of Sri Guru Amardas Ji's 450th Jyoti-Jot Divas and Sri Guru Ramdas Ji's 450th Gurgaddi Divas.
The Gurudwara Management Committee honoured the ministers with Siropao. In a gesture of humility, the Punjab Cabinet Ministers joined the queue to partake langar.
Addressing the media on this auspicious occasion, Punjab Cabinet Ministers Laljit Singh Bhullar, Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal and Harbhajan Singh E.T.O. expressed their profound gratitude and humility at being part of the centenary celebrations.
The Cabinet Ministers stated that by paying obeisance at the revered Gurudwara Sri Baoli Sahib Sri Goindwal Sahib, known as "Sikhi da Dhura", they offered heartfelt prayers for Punjab's continued progress, peace and tranquility, as well as for fostering the unity and brotherhood among its people.
Emphasizing the significance of Sikh values, they urged individuals to draw inspiration from the Gurus' lives and contribute meaningfully to upholding these principles, thereby strengthening the fabric of Punjab's society.
The Cabinet Ministers reverently acknowledged Sri Goindwal Sahib as the sacred land blessed by the holy footsteps of our revered Gurus. They highlighted its significance as the global hub from which Sikhism's message of peace, unity and spiritual enlightenment was propagated.
They noted that the centenary celebrations marking 450 years of Sri Guru Amardas Ji's Jyoti-Jot Divas and Sri Guru Ramdas Ji's Gurgaddi Divas had drawn lakhs of devoted pilgrims.
They extended a warm welcome to all who had gathered at this sacred site on this momentous occasion.
