Pension Adalat in Ferozepur; resolves majority of grievances on the spot, promises swift action on pending cases

Ferozepur, November 21, 2024: A Pension Adalat was organized at the District Administrative Complex by the Accountant General (Accounts and Entitlements) Punjab and UT Chandigarh. The Adalat provided a platform for nearly 30 pensioners to present their grievances. Out of these, the issues of approximately 22 pensioners were resolved immediately by the designated officials. For the remaining eight pending cases, instructions were issued to the concerned departments to expedite their resolution without delay.
The Pension Court was presided over by Senior Accounts Officer Ranjit Kumar, Assistant Accounts Officer Rajender Kumar Meena, and Karn Accountant. Key district officials, including SP (H) Naveen Kumar, LDM Geeta Mehta, District Language Officer Jagdeep Singh Sandhu, Treasury Officer Tejinder Singh, Superintendent Grade-1 Rajvir Kaur, Superintendent Grade-2 Prem Kumari, along with officials from various departments and banks, were also present to assist in addressing the grievances.
This initiative aimed to ensure timely resolution of pensioners' concerns and demonstrated a collaborative effort by the administration to support retired employees.
