Amritsar (Punjab), January 12, 2025: An Australia-returned man has captivated the people of Amritsar with his art by making different types of special kites.
Maninder Singh used to come to India from Australia every year to fly kites at this time of the season. Only this time, he didn't go back. He has now started a special kite-making business.
Till now, he has given employment to 20 people that including women. "In the coming time, the team will be bigger and there will be wholesale work for 12 months," he shared.
He said that every kite we have has a stamp on it, where Australia to Amritsar A to A is written and seeing this, people are coming here from different places to buy kites.
He said that very good kites are being made by them here. Seeing kites of different designs makes the mind happy. Sidhu Moosewala's kites for the New Year 2025, kites of up to 12 feet have been made.
