  Amritsar, March 10, 2025:
  
  After assuming the charge of Acting Jathedar of Akal Takht Sahib, Giani Kuldeep Singh, while speaking to the media, said that he would demand Amritsar and Anandpur Sahib to be granted the status of holy cities. He also stated that there would be no changes to the Hukamnama issued by Akal Takht Sahib on December 2. Giani Kuldeep Singh refrained from making any comments about former Akal Takht Jathedar Giani Harpreet Singh.
