Chandigarh, March 17, 2025 – Haryana’s Energy, Transport, and Labour Minister, Anil Vij, emphasized that the state budget has been crafted with inputs from all sections of society, ensuring a vision of inclusive and holistic development.
“All sections of people and all legislators were consulted while preparing the budget, so it is hoped that this time’s budget will include everyone,” Vij stated while addressing media queries on the budget presentation.
Waqf Board Act Changes Under Due Consideration
Responding to protests by the Muslim Personal Law Board over the Waqf Bill, Vij asserted, “In a democracy, everyone has the right to protest. However, the changes in the Waqf Board Act are being implemented after thorough discussions. Not everyone may agree, but democracy functions through consultation.”
Criticism of West Bengal’s Law and Order
Commenting on the recent temple vandalism in West Bengal, Vij criticized Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, saying, “Law and order in West Bengal is deteriorating. Elements promoting hooliganism are being encouraged. If Mamata Banerjee cannot handle the situation, she should take tuition from Yogi Ji for a few days.”
BJP’s Sports Policy Lauded Nationwide
In response to former CM Bhupinder Singh Hooda’s claim about the 'Medal Lao, Pad Pao' scheme, Vij countered, “BJP has done the most for athletes. Our sports policy is appreciated across India, which is the biggest reward for the country. I don’t know what world Hooda Sahib is living in.”
Vij’s remarks covered a wide range of political and policy matters, reflecting the BJP’s stance on governance, law and order, and sports development.
