Central Government releases funds and tourism will be promoted in Hussainiwala: Dr. Sodhi
Ferozepur, March 26, 2025: With the aim of enhancing the culture and heritage of the Samadhi Sthal of Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru, the Central Government has released an amount of Rs 24.99 crore, under which the entire Samadhi Sthal including the road will be beautified.
In Ferozepur, a heritage street and thematic gate will be built in the name of the martyrs as a peace and harmony center. Dr., Special Invitee Member of the National Executive of BJP Rana Gurmeet Singh Sodhi said that a few days ago he had met Union Culture and Tourism Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat and he had raised the issue of development of Hussainiwala and the demand was considered.
While doing this, the Union Minister has released funds so that tourism can be promoted here. He said that the only way to pay true tribute to the martyrs is for the Central Government to develop this place by releasing funds.
Rana Sodhi said that the foundation stone of this project will be laid soon. He said that the Central Government had installed a light and sound system and simulator train in Hussainiwala with an amount of about Rs 7 crore under the Swadesh Darshan Yojana in the year 2021, which was damaged due to floods. He said that special steps are being taken by the Central Government to restart this project.
He said that the central government is launching several projects to make Ferozepur a tourism hub. He said that tourism will get a boost here, which will develop business opportunities here and provide employment to people of all classes.
