Punjab Sikhiya Kranti: MLAs inaugurate projects in 19 Ferozepur schools to enhance education
Ferozepur, April 7, 2025: Taking a concrete step towards the objective of providing world-class education to students in the state under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann and Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains, the local MLAs – Ranbir Singh Bhullar Ferozepur Urban, Rajnish Dahiya Ferozepur Rural, Fouja Singh Sarari Guruharsahai and Naresh Kataria, Zira, inaugurated projects worth crores of rupees in the entire Ferozepur district today under the "Punjab Sikhiya Kranti” program.
Under Punjab Sikhiya Kranti, on the first day, as many as 19 schools in Ferozepur district as a part of special steps taken by the Punjab government to make government schools at par with world-class educational institutions.
The inaugurated schools are six in Guruharasahai block are – Saide Ke Mohan, Basti Baba Tara Singh, Panje Ke Uttar and Gundad Panj Grain Primary and High schools, 6 in Zira block are Kohala, Hola Wali- Primary and High, Miha Singh Wala and Naurang Singh Wala, In Ferozepour City block 4 schools are Luthar, Mifa Shah Noor and Khai Pheme Ke – Primary and High and in Ferozepur Rural block are Bazidpur, Mishriwala and Mana Singh Wala
MLAs said that the Punjab government has modernized classrooms, infrastructure and digital learning facilities to make education in the state at par with international educational institutions. This initiative reflects the commitment of the Punjab government towards providing quality education to all children. These development works and improvements done by the Punjab government in government schools have provided a better learning environment to the students which will enable them to progress further academically.
On this occasion, District Education Officer (Secondary Education)Munila Arora, Palwinder Singh Brar Education Coordinator Ferozepur Rural, Talwinder Singh Khalsa, Sarabjit Singh Dhaliwal Media Coordinator, Sukhchain Singh, Pawan Madan, Sham Singh Mudka, Mani Sandhu, Sukhdeep Singh Ugoke, Balwinder Singh Ladi Bajidpur, Harman Singh Bhamba Landa etc. were present.
