Missing Ferozepur students found safe, handed over to families
Ferozepur, May 24, 2025: The mystery surrounding the disappearance of four Class 12 students and two others from Ferozepur has finally been resolved. All six individuals, including inverter mechanic Varinder Singh, have been found safe and were handed over to their families by the Sadar Police.
Reliable sources revealed that the youths were allegedly in police custody since Friday evening and were released only after the matter began circulating in the media. The police reportedly completed their questioning before reuniting the boys with their families.
Interestingly, neither the students nor their family members were willing to share any details about the episode, maintaining silence over the circumstances of their disappearance and return.
Earlier, the sudden disappearance of the four school students and two others had sparked panic in the town. A formal missing persons report was filed at the City Police Station, and a search operation was launched. The youths’ phones had been switched off, and only vague eyewitness accounts suggested they had been seen on motorcycles.
The case had caused considerable anxiety across the region, but the safe return of the individuals has brought much relief to the community.
