UGC NET June 2025 Exam Rescheduled: Check new dates, admit card details

New Delhi, June 7, 2025: In a crucial update for aspirants, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced revised dates for the UGC NET June 2025 examination. Originally scheduled for the first week of June, the exam will now be conducted between June 25 and June 29.
Revised Schedule Released
The NTA has published an official notice stating that subject-wise exam dates and shift details have been uploaded on the official website — ugcnet.nta.ac.in. Candidates can log in to check the date and time slot for their respective subjects.
Exam Mode and Eligibility
The UGC NET June 2025 exam will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode across multiple centres. This national-level test is held for eligibility in three major categories:
- Junior Research Fellowship (JRF)
- Assistant Professorship
- PhD Admissions
A total of 85 subjects will be covered in this examination cycle.
Admit Card and Exam City Details
The admit cards will be released around 10 days prior to the examination.
These will include crucial details such as exam date, time, and exam centre. Candidates are strongly advised to regularly visit the official website for updates.NTA will also release a list of exam cities around 10 days before the exam to help students make travel arrangements accordingly.
