Future generations thank today’s medical heroes on National Doctors’ Day

Ferozepur, July 1, 2025: Marking the occasion of National Doctors’ Day, students of Vivekananda World School, Ferozepur, paid a heartfelt tribute to the medical fraternity by visiting the DC office and honoring doctors and health officials for their dedication and service.
The students expressed their gratitude by presenting handmade thank-you cards, greeting letters, and posters filled with messages of respect and admiration for the selfless contribution of doctors to society.
The event was graced by Dr. Rajwinder Kaur (PCMS-1, Civil Surgeon) and Dr. Mandeep Kaur (MD Chest & TB, PCMS-1, District Family Welfare Officer), who commended the students’ initiative. They also motivated the students to consider a future in medicine, highlighting how doctors not only heal physical ailments but also provide emotional and mental strength to patients.
Also in attendance were Dr. Meenakshi Dhingra, Dr. Sushma Thakkar (Assistant Civil Surgeon), Ms. Neha Bhandari, Sanjeev Sharma (District Mass Media Officer), Ankush Bhandari (Deputy Mass Media Officer), and Vikas Kalra.
Dr. S. N. Rudra, School Director, praised the unwavering commitment of doctors, calling them “true heroes of society” who serve humanity even in the most challenging times.
The event concluded with students reciting poems and delivering messages inspired by the spirit of Doctors’ Day, making the celebration a truly educational and inspiring experience.
