Massive fire breaks out in Ferozepur, heavy loss reported
Ferozepur, July 13, 2025: A sudden and massive fire broke out today at Rahul Paint Store located in the Makhu Gate area of the city. The blaze completely destroyed all the goods inside the shop, causing an estimated loss of lakhs of rupees to the owner.
The incident occurred when the shop was closed due to Sunday being a holiday. Preliminary reports suggest that the fire was triggered by a short circuit. Fortunately, the fire did not spread to adjoining shops. Timely action by the fire brigade personnel, with the help of local residents, successfully brought the fire under control and averted a major mishap.
Shop owner Rahul Sharma stated that he was at home when the incident took place. Upon receiving information about the fire, he rushed to the shop but by then most of the goods had already been gutted. According to him, he has suffered heavy financial loss running into lakhs of rupees. Apart from paints, he also dealt in sanitary goods.
