Punjab Subordinate Services Federation (Scientific) to hold conference in Fazilka on Oct 3

Fazilka (Punjab), September 27, 2025: The Punjab Subordinate Services Federation (Scientific) has announced that its district-level conference for Fazilka will take place on Friday, October 3, 2025, at ITI Fazilka. Preparations for the conference have already begun.
The announcement came after the Federation’s district federal council meeting, held under the chairmanship of District President Harish Kamboj at ITI Fazilka. General Secretary Major Singh informed the press that the council discussed issues faced by employees and shared demands, including the release of the 13% Dearness Allowance (DA).
The Federation has resolved to intensify its struggle against the Punjab AAP government to ensure employees’ rights are addressed.
The upcoming district conference will serve as a key milestone for strengthening the Federation’s organizational structure and advancing its demands. Reports on the Federation’s activities over the past year will be presented, and delegates from various departments will participate in discussions and debates.
Following detailed deliberations, a new district committee and office bearers will be elected, and the state council will announce its upcoming programs.
Speaking at the meeting, State General Secretary Surinder Kamboj emphasized the Federation’s focus on unity and preparing for stronger struggles against government policies that have disappointed employees.
District President Harish Chander Kamboj shared that responsibilities for organizing the conference have been assigned to various members.
General Secretary Major Singh highlighted that the conference will take place at a time when the government has not fulfilled its promises, and it will provide a renewed direction for employee struggles. The event will also feature addresses from the Federation’s state president and other senior leaders.
Other notable speakers included Surinder Kamboj (State General Secretary, Government Teachers’ Union, Punjab Scientific), Mahinder Singh Ghallu (District President, Field and Workshop Workers Union), and Jasvinder Singh (Leader, ITI Employees Union). They urged all departmental employees to attend the conference in large numbers.
The district council meeting was attended by a large gathering of Federation members, including Gurnam Chand, Resham Singh, Madan Lal, Gurjant Singh, Radha Krishna, Subhash Chander, Ashok Kumar, Raj Kumar, Chander Dev, Sukhminder Singh, Amar Singh, Om Prakash, Surinder Kumar, Kapil Kapoor, Milk Raj, Kulwant Rai, Rajiv Kumar, Bahal Singh, Rajesh Kumar, Tahil Singh, Dharm Pal, Prem Pardesi, Balwinder Gora, and many others.
