Railway opens Digital Life Certificate Help Desks at key stations to simplify pension process
Ferozepur, November 1, 2025: To assist pensioners, help desks have been set up at major stations in the Ferozepur Division, including Ludhiana, Jalandhar City, Amritsar, and at the Ferozepur Divisional Office. These help desks will remain operational until November 30, 2025, providing guidance and information on digital life certificates and raising awareness among pensioners.
The Department of Pension & Pensioners’ Welfare (DoPPW), Government of India, has announced the launch of the Nationwide Digital Life Certificate (DLC) Campaign 4.0, which will be held across the country from November 1 to November 30, 2025. The campaign aims to make the process of submitting life certificates for pensioners simple, digital, and easily accessible, reducing the need for repeated visits to banks or pension disbursing offices.
A key feature of Campaign 4.0 is the use of Face Authentication Technology, allowing pensioners to submit their digital life certificates easily via the Jeevan Pramaan App without visiting a bank or pension office.
