  Chandigarh, December 5, 2025: Farmers will stop trains for two hours today from 1.00 PM to 3.00 PM at 26 spots in Punjab against Electricity amendment bill being pushed by the Centre Government.
  
  Farmer leader Sarwan Singh Pandher accused Punjab government of not doing enough in the matter and working against farmer interests. He also accused Punjab police of threatening farmer leaders from staging protests.
