Ferozepur, January 1, 2026: Indian Railways has announced partial changes in the train timetable for trains operating under the Ferozepur Division, effective from January 1, 2026. The revision has been undertaken to improve passenger convenience, enhance train speeds, and ensure smoother railway operations.
According to railway officials, such timetable adjustments are carried out annually to accommodate passenger demand, reduce overall travel time, and optimally utilise infrastructure improvements made across the network. The latest changes aim to enhance punctuality and improve connectivity between destinations.
Senior Divisional Commercial Manager, Paramdeep Singh Saini, has appealed to rail passengers to verify the updated schedule of their respective trains before commencing their journey. The revised train timings are available on the official Indian Railways website through the National Train Enquiry System (NTES) and via the railway helpline number 139, ensuring a hassle-free and comfortable travel experience for passengers.
