Union Civil Aviation Minister invites Rajinder Gupta for Halwara Airport inauguration

Chandigarh, January 31, 2026: Union Civil Aviation Minister Rammohan Naidu Kinjarapu has invited Rajya Sabha member Rajinder Gupta on inauguration of Halwara airpot on February 1, 2026.
In an invite sent to Rajinder Gupta, Union Minister informed him that naming of Adampur airport as Guru Ravidas Ji Airport Adampur will be done on February 1 along with inauguration of new terminal building of Halwara Airport a joint venture between Airport Authority of India (AAI) and the Punjab Government. This new terminal building and other infrastructure at Halwara has been development with Rs. 54.67 Crores.
It is worth mentioning here thar Rajinder Gupta had taken up issue of naming Adampur Airport after Guru Ravidas Ji and construction of Halwara airport terminal in Parliament and also with Government of India.
