16 Kanoongos promoted as Naib Tehsildars
Revenue Minister Mundian Hands Over Appointment Letters

Chandigarh, February 3, 2026: Punjab Revenue, Rehabilitation and Disaster Management Minister S. Hardeep Singh Mundian on Tuesday handed over promotion letters to 16 officials promoted as Naib Tehsildars from the post of Kanoongos.
The promotions were granted in accordance with prescribed service rules after completion of all departmental formalities.
Congratulating the promoted officers, Mundian said the Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann-led Punjab Government remains committed to protecting the service interests of its employees and ensuring timely promotions.
He added that strengthening the revenue administration is a key priority of the government to improve public service delivery at the grassroots level.
The Revenue Minister urged the newly promoted Naib Tehsildars to discharge their duties with honesty, dedication and a strong sense of responsibility.
Emphasising their role as the first point of contact for citizens in land and revenue matters, he said their integrity and conduct directly impact public trust in governance. He called upon them to uphold transparency, strictly follow rules and serve people without discrimination.
Additional Chief Secretary-cum-Financial Commissioner (Revenue) Anurag Verma also congratulated the officers and said the Punjab Government has ensured time-bound promotions and a transparent administrative system to keep officials motivated and focused on public welfare.
The officials promoted as Naib Tehsildars are Swaran Singh, Rajinder Singh, Gurdeep Lal, Rajesh Kumar, Karamjeet Singh, Baljeet Singh, Ranjeet Singh, Parminder Singh, Jaspal Singh, Gurcharan Singh, Sukhbir Singh, Sunil Prabhakar, Onkar Singh, Randeep Singh, Baljit Singh and Karaj Singh.
