Chandigarh, March 3, 2036: Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) President Sukhbir Singh Badal has strongly objected to the reported change in colours of PRTC buses, accusing the ruling Aam Aadmi Party government of politicising public assets.
In a sharp statement, Badal alleged that the AAP government, after “pushing Punjab into debt, weakening law and order and damaging the economy,” is now focusing on repainting government institutions in party colours instead of addressing core issues.
He claimed that a service centre built during the Shiromani Akali Dal government was repainted and renamed as a “Mohalla Clinic,” and that a Meritorious School established during the tenure of former Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal was also painted in party colours.
Badal further alleged that PRTC buses are now being painted in blue, yellow and white, which he described as politically motivated.
He asserted that such moves would not mislead the people of Punjab, maintaining that the SAD government had carried out comprehensive development during its tenure, while accusing the current administration of indulging in propaganda.
