Singapore India Business Forum President meets Haryana CM Saini, investment opportunities discussed

Chandigarh, March 6, 2026: President of the Singapore India Business Forum, Prasoon Mukherjee, met Nayab Singh Saini in Chandigarh on Friday to discuss industrial investment and trade cooperation in Haryana.
During the meeting, the Chief Minister invited Singapore-based investors to explore business opportunities in the state, highlighting the Haryana government’s efforts to promote industries through transparent policies, simplified procedures, and improved infrastructure.
Saini assured full support to investors, stating that the government is committed to providing a conducive environment and protecting investors’ interests. He added that expansion of industries in the state would generate new employment opportunities and accelerate economic growth.
The discussions also included a proposal to establish a business centre of the Singapore India Business Forum in Gurugram, which would provide Singaporean companies a platform to set up offices and expand investments in Haryana.
During the meeting, Mukherjee also invited the Haryana Chief Minister to visit Singapore, stating that investors associated with the forum are keen to explore investment opportunities in Haryana across multiple sectors.
The meeting was attended by Anurag Rastogi, Arun Kumar Gupta, Amit Agrawal, and other senior officials.
