Music, dance and Punjabi flavours enthrall global delegates at Investors’ Summit

SAS Nagar (Punjab), March 15, 2026: The Progressive Punjab Investors’ Summit 2026 turned into more than just a platform for business discussions, as investors from India and abroad experienced the warmth of Punjab’s hospitality, vibrant culture and traditional cuisine during the multi-day event.
Delegates attending the summit appreciated the arrangements made by the Punjab government and enthusiastically joined the cultural celebrations organised alongside the investment sessions. The event highlighted not only Punjab’s economic potential but also its rich cultural heritage.
Earlier, Bhagwant Singh Mann had assured that visiting delegates would experience the generosity and cultural vibrancy that Punjab is known for. Throughout the summit, guests were welcomed with traditional hospitality, giving them a glimpse of the state’s traditions and lifestyle.

One of the major highlights of the summit was a special cultural evening organised at the Mohali Golf Range, where popular Punjabi singers Ranjit Bawa and Harjit Harman enthralled the audience with their performances.
Ranjit Bawa energised the crowd with several of his hit tracks, including Heavyweight Bhangra, Family Di Member, Sher, Mukabla and Chhote-Chhote Gharan, prompting many delegates and investors to join the celebrations on the dance floor.
Harjit Harman began his performance with devotional songs before presenting some of his popular numbers such as Jithon Marzi Wangan Chadhwa Layeein, Mitran Da Naa Chalda, Punjab Guru’an Di Kripa Naal Vassda and 24 Carat Gold, reflecting the cultural and spiritual ethos of Punjab.
Adding to the festive atmosphere, the Jugni Cultural Group presented lively performances of traditional folk dances including Bhangra and Luddi, drawing enthusiastic applause from the audience.
Welcoming the delegates, Sanjeev Arora said the Punjab government ensured that the summit showcased both the state’s investment opportunities and its rich cultural heritage. He said the initiative was aimed at giving investors a deeper understanding of Punjab’s economic potential as well as its traditions and people.
Punjab Agriculture Minister Gurmeet Singh Khuddian also attended the event. Delegates from across the country and abroad praised the Punjab government for the well-organised arrangements, cultural programmes and authentic Punjabi cuisine that made the summit a memorable experience.
