Vidhan Sabha Speaker Sandhwan honours UPSC achievers
Kotkapura, March 18, 2025: Punjab Vidhan Sabha Speaker Kultar Singh Sandhwan honoured meritorious students at the Punjab Vidhan Sabha for bringing laurels to the state through their outstanding performance in the UPSC examination.
On the occasion, Speaker Sandhwan praised the students for their hard work, dedication and perseverance, saying that these young men and women are the future of the nation and their success serves as a source of inspiration for other youngsters.
During the function, Aman Aloone, Rasneet Kaur, Manpreet Kaur, Jayant Garg and Kritika Chaudhary were specially honoured for their achievement.
Congratulating the students and their parents, Sandhwan said that securing success in a highly competitive examination like the UPSC is a major accomplishment that requires tremendous hard work, discipline and determination. He encouraged the new administrative officers to uphold truth, honesty and justice while discharging their responsibilities in public service.
He said the real strength of the pen and the chair lies in using them for public welfare, adding that positive change can be brought in society through sincere service.
Extending his heartfelt congratulations to all talented students across the country, the Speaker said that the daughters and sons of Punjab have once again proved through their talent and determination that no goal is too far when one’s resolve is strong.
He particularly mentioned Simrandeep Kaur and Rasneet Kaur from Patiala, Kritika Chaudhary from Balachaur, and Manpreet Kaur and Akriti Singla from Mansa, saying that they have not only made their families proud but have also brought honour to the entire state of Punjab.
In the end, Sandhwan said the government would continue to encourage youth to move ahead and that honouring such achievements strengthens the importance of education and hard work in society.
