CGC Landran hosts ‘Build with AI’ Bootcamp to boost student innovation and skills

Landran (Mohali), April 6, 2026: The Department of Emerging Technologies at Chandigarh Engineering College (CEC), CGC Landran, successfully organized the ‘Build with AI Bootcamp’ in collaboration with Google for Developers and powered by Hack2Skill, focusing on hands-on learning and industry readiness in artificial intelligence.
Held under the theme “Learn, Build and Deploy with Google AI,” the bootcamp brought together students and industry professionals for a series of technical sessions and interactive learning experiences.
Experts including Shweta Singh, Prabav Walia, Aashi Dutt, and Simarpreet Singh shared insights into real-world AI applications, emerging industry trends, and innovation-driven development practices.

The dignitaries were welcomed by Dr. Rajdeep Singh, Campus Director, CGC Landran; Dr. Ashok Kumar; Dr. Sukhpreet Kaur; and Dr. Kapil Mehta.
The sessions covered key domains such as generative AI, machine learning models, and cloud-based AI deployment. Participants engaged in hands-on activities, applying theoretical concepts to real-world challenges in areas like healthcare, cybersecurity, education, and automation.
Dr. Kapil Mehta emphasized that the bootcamp aimed to equip students with practical AI skills and a strong problem-solving mindset, highlighting the importance of exposure to real-world tools and industry practices.
Dr. Rajdeep Singh added that such initiatives help bridge the gap between academic learning and industry expectations, preparing students for future opportunities in an AI-driven world.

The event highlighted the growing importance of integrating emerging technologies into academic frameworks and reaffirmed CGC Landran’s commitment to preparing students for careers in a rapidly evolving technological landscape.
