CGC Landran launches Empower Scholarship Scheme to mark 25-year milestone
Mohali, 9 April 2026- Commemorating its 25 year milestone, CGC Landran has announced the launch of its flagship ‘Empower’ Scholarship Scheme, for the academic session 2026-2027. This scheme will offer students the unique opportunity to pursue higher education with up to 100 per cent Semester fee waiver across all Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) programmes. The scheme was launched by Satnam Singh Sandhu, Chairman, CGC Landran, in the presence of Parampal Singh Dhillon, Vice Chairman, CGC Landran; Dr. Rajdeep Singh, Campus Director, CGC Landran, Deans, Directors, faculty, staff and students of the institution. The Empower Scholarship Scheme is a comprehensive initiative envisioned to recognize academic excellence, promote institutional progression and foster inclusivity across diverse student groups. The scheme focuses on supporting meritorious students, encouraging girl education, honouring defence families, promoting sports & cultural talent and extending support to financially disadvantaged students. A key highlight of this scheme is the provision of up to 100 per cent Semester fees waiver, awarded to eligible candidates, based on outstanding academic performance and defined eligibility criteria. This would ensure that deserving students can access quality education without financial barriers. The scholarships under scheme are seamlessly integrated with the admission process, allowing eligible candidates to be considered upon application and document verification.
