BJP Punjab forms 5 teams to assess rain-induced crop damage across 10 districts

Chandigarh, April 11, 2026: The Bharatiya Janata Party (Bharatiya Janata Party) Punjab unit has constituted five teams of senior leaders to visit rain-affected districts and assess crop damage, as well as gather feedback directly from farmers on the ground.
According to State General Secretary Anil Sarin, the teams will cover 10 affected districts across Punjab, focusing on agricultural losses caused by recent unseasonal rains.
For Fazilka and Sri Muktsar Sahib, the team includes leaders such as Manpreet Singh Badal, Dyal Singh Sodhi, Sujeet Jyani, Ashwani Sekhri, Vandana Sangwan, and Lakhbir Singh.
For Ferozepur and Bathinda, the team comprises Rana Gurmeet Singh Sodhi, Jagmeet Singh Brar, Sushil Rinku, Harminder Jassi, Jagdeep Singh Nakai, Sarabhjit Singh Makkar, and Darshan Singh Nenewal.
The team for Barnala and Sangrur includes Som Parkash, Kewal Singh Dhillon, Maharani Parneet Kaur, Harbans Lal, Mangat Rai Bansal, Ranjit Singh Gill, and Jagdeep Singh Cheema.
For Amritsar and Pathankot, the assigned leaders include Vijay Sampla, Shwet Malik, Tikshan Sood, Dinesh Singh Babbu, Fateh Jang Singh Bajwa, Manjit Singh Manna, and Balwinder Singh Laddi.
The team for Hoshiarpur and Kapurthala includes Manoranjan Kalia, Avinash Khanna, Jangi Lal Mahajan, Sheetal Angural, K. D. Bhandari, and Jagbir Singh Brar.
