Candidates will be selected purely on merit based on their performance in the written examination. The typing test (for Clerks) and stenography/proficiency test (for Steno-Typists) will be qualifying in nature, and no interview will be conducted.
Authorities clarified that merely appearing in the written test does not guarantee appointment, and candidates must meet all eligibility criteria.
The written examination will be OMR-based and conducted in two papers. Examination centres will be notified on the official website one day prior to the exam. Candidates must report at their respective centres at least one hour before the scheduled time, carrying their admit card, required documents, and the same passport-size photograph uploaded during the online application process. No request for change of examination centre will be entertained.
The pay scale for Clerks is Level-2 (₹19,900–₹63,200), while Steno-Typists will receive Level-3 pay (₹21,700–₹69,100) under the 7th Pay Commission. The age limit is 18 to 27 years, with relaxations for reserved categories as per government norms.
Reservation benefits for SC, OBC, EWS, Ex-Servicemen, and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities will be applicable as per existing rules. Candidates seeking reservation must produce valid certificates from competent authorities during document verification. In cases where Ex-Servicemen are not available, vacancies may be offered to eligible dependents under prescribed conditions.
The administration has advised candidates to regularly check the official website for updates regarding examination dates, admit cards, results, and further stages of the recruitment process.
Strict action will be taken against candidates found using unfair means, including disqualification, debarment, and possible legal action under the Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act, 2024.
