ED takes Minister Sanjeev Arora from Chandigarh residence in convoy after arrest; Watch Video

Chandigarh, May 9, 2026: In a major political development, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has arrested Punjab Cabinet Minister Sanjeev Arora in connection with an ongoing investigation under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), according to official sources.
The Aam Aadmi Party leader was reportedly taken away by ED officials in an agency convoy after several hours of questioning at his residence in Chandigarh. He will be taken to ED headquarters in Delhi.
Sources said the minister was taken into custody following extensive interrogation linked to alleged financial irregularities being probed by the central agency.
