  Chandigarh, May 19, 2026: Senior Journalist and former member of Press Council of India Balwinder Jammu’s son and former Secretary Bar Association Punjab and Haryana High Court Gagandeep Jammu survived an assassination bid near Kurali when some unidentified persons fired shots at him.
  
  Lawyers at High Court have strongly condemned this attack and have demanded action against guilty.
