Chandigarh Photographers Association honours Senior Photographers at grand General Body meeting

Chandigarh, May 19, 2026: The Chandigarh Photographers Association successfully organised its General Body Meeting at Lions Club, Sector 18, Chandigarh, with nearly 200 members and guests participating in the event.
During the meeting, senior photographers from Chandigarh, Mohali, and Panchkula were honoured for their outstanding contributions and achievements in the professional photography field. Among those recognised was renowned photographer Suresh Sharma of Indiano Studio, who has earned national appreciation for his work in architectural photography.
Addressing the gathering, Association General Secretary Sunil Bhatt presented a detailed report highlighting the major achievements of the governing body over the past nine months.
The association stated that the leadership team, headed by CPA President Saroj Singh Chauhan and supported by founding member and Treasurer Subhash Bhatia, has achieved several important milestones in a short period.
According to the association, these accomplishments include updating the organisation’s registration status, streamlining the association’s banking system, and implementing a direct payment mechanism for members.
Members present at the event appreciated the efforts of the governing body and described the progress made within nine months as historic for the organisation.
The meeting concluded on a positive note, with members reaffirming their commitment to strengthening the photography community and promoting professional excellence across the Tricity region.
