  Chandigarh, June 1, 2026: Majitha Police has booked former Minister Bikram Singh Majithia and 50 to 60 other unidentified persons for attack on Majitha Police Station. According to SSP Amritsar Rural Suhail Qasim Mir FIR No 91 dated 31.5.26 has been registered at Majitha Police Station.
  
  SSP has disclosed that Majitha Police has registered FIR No 90 on 30.5.26 and arrested one Jobanpreet Singh. He said that when police was interrogating Jobanpreet, this Majitha led mob overpowered police personnel and they tried to take away Jobanpreet. He said that SHO and DSP Majitha reached the venue and confrontated them and later Jobanpreet was again taken into custody.
