Chandigarh, July 8, 2026: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann on Wednesday called upon every eligible voter in the state to immediately complete the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process, asserting that participation is essential to safeguard the constitutional right to vote and ensure continued access to government welfare schemes, including the ₹1,000 per month benefit under the Mawan Dhiyan Satkar Yojana.
The Chief Minister said only those whose names are included in the new voter list after submitting the SIR form will be able to exercise their franchise and avail the benefits of government schemes. Assuring full support to the people, the Chief Minister said anyone facing difficulty in filling the SIR form should seek assistance from local Aam Aadmi Party volunteers.
In a message to the people, CM Bhagwant Singh Mann said, “It is very important for every eligible voter to fill out the SIR form so that your name is included in the new electoral roll. If your name does not appear in the voter list, you will not be able to exercise your democratic right to vote. I urge every Punjabi to complete this process on time and protect this invaluable right.”
The Chief Minister said that the Special Intensive Revision is aimed at strengthening democracy at the grassroots level and appealed to people across the state to participate enthusiastically. He assured full support and cooperation to every citizen during the process.
CM Bhagwant Singh Mann stated, “If anyone faces any difficulty while filling out the SIR form, they should contact the local volunteers of the Aam Aadmi Party, who will extend every possible assistance.”
Congratulating the women of Punjab on the launch of Mawan Dhiyan Satkar Yojana, the Chief Minister said that the state government has fulfilled another major promise made to the people.
CM Bhagwant Singh Mann stated, “Women beneficiaries above the age of 18 years have started receiving notifications on their mobile phones regarding the financial assistance being credited directly to their bank accounts. Every Woman of Punjab is receiving ₹1,000 per month, while women from the Scheduled Caste category are receiving ₹1,500 per month.
