VWS launches Civil Services Study Centre to prepare future administrators
Ferozepur, July 9, 2026: In a pioneering initiative aimed at nurturing future civil servants, Vivekananda World School (VWS) has launched the Civil Services Study Centre, enabling students to begin preparation for prestigious competitive examinations, including the Civil Services, from the school level itself.
The programme was inaugurated by the school's Director, Dr. S. N. Rudra, who highlighted the vital role of civil servants in nation-building and encouraged students to set ambitious career goals from an early age.
While the initiative is primarily designed for students of Classes IX to XII, academically bright students from Classes VI to VIII have also been included to help them develop a clear vision and long-term preparation strategy for administrative services.
Under the programme, special classes will be conducted every Thursday, during which students will be introduced to the fundamentals of the Civil Services Examination, current affairs, general knowledge, aptitude, and essential leadership and administrative skills.
The inaugural session received an overwhelming response, with students participating enthusiastically. Many described the class as informative, motivating, and inspiring, expressing confidence that the initiative would provide them with a strong foundation for achieving their career aspirations.
The school management stated that the Civil Services Study Centre reflects the school's commitment to holistic education and career-oriented learning, equipping students with the knowledge, confidence, and leadership qualities required to excel in India's most prestigious public service examinations.
