Lt Gen Kabthiyal lays foundation stone for New Girls Hostel at Army College of Nursing
Jalandhar, July 22, 2026: The foundation stone for construction of additional Girls Hostel of Army College of Nursing (ACN) was laid by Lt Gen Amit Kabthiyal, YSM, SM**, GOC 11 Corps (Patron, ACN) at Jalandhar Cantt today.
The Army College of Nursing has, over the years, earned a well-deserved reputation as a centre of excellence in nursing education. Through its commitment to academic rigour, discipline and professional values, the institution has been preparing dedicated nursing professionals who serve the Armed Forces and the nation with distinction.
Lt Gen Amit Kabthiyal, YSM, SM**, GOC 11 Corps addressed the students and faculty of the college and extended his best wishes and confidence that the new facility will make a meaningful contribution to the continued growth and success of the Army College of Nursing.
