Cockroach Janta Party announces peaceful youth protest March in Delhi on Sept 5
Babushahi Bureau
New Delhi, August 24, 2026:The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) has announced a nationwide call for a peaceful protest march in New Delhi on September 5, alleging that the Government of India has failed to fulfil commitments made to young people on July 25.
According to the party, nationwide youth protests were withdrawn following the July 25 commitments in good faith. The CJP said the proposed march is being organised to seek accountability over what it described as the government’s failure to honour those assurances. The peaceful march will begin at India Gate and proceed towards the New Delhi Police Headquarters, the party said.
The demonstration will be led by families of deceased NEET victims and people described by the party as victims of police brutality. Students, youth organisations and young citizens from different parts of the country are also expected to participate.
The CJP said the September 5 march would remain peaceful and would focus on raising concerns of young people and seeking action on the commitments made by the government.
The announcement comes as the party seeks to mobilise students and youth groups nationally around issues it says require greater government accountability.
