Breaking: 26-year-old man dies while trying to douse fire at Ludhiana Godown

Ludhiana (Punjab), October 30, 2026: A 26-year-old man died while attempting to extinguish a massive fire that broke out at a godown in the Field Ganj area of Ludhiana.
According to the victim’s father, his son had gone upstairs to help douse the fire but lost his life in the process.
Speaking to news agency ANI, the grieving father said, “My son lost his life in the incident. He went upstairs to douse the fire but lost his life while doing so. He was 26 years old.”
Meanwhile, firefighting operations were underway at the godown, with efforts being made to bring the blaze under control.
