Breaking: CBI hands over Parvinder Jhota’s body to family

Chandigarh, November 7, 2026: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has handed over the body of anti-drug campaigner Parminder Jhota to his family after completion of the post-mortem examination and all related paperwork.
The body is currently kept in the hospital mortuary.
According to the latest update, the family has decided to take the body to Mansa on Sunday morning. Any change in the programme will be communicated accordingly.
The post-mortem examination was conducted at the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGI), Chandigarh, by a special team of doctors.
