Srinagar (Jammu and Kashmir), November 7, 2026: The Meteorological Department has forecast generally dry weather across Jammu and Kashmir till November 9, followed by the possibility of light rain and snowfall over higher reaches from November 10.
According to the latest weather advisory, light rainfall is expected at scattered to many places across the Union Territory on November 10 and 11. Higher-altitude areas may also receive light snowfall during this period.
The forecast indicates a change in weather conditions after November 9, with precipitation likely to affect parts of the region over the following two days.
