In an exclusive interview with Babushahi.com, Amrita Chehil, Mrs India runner-up explained that her life goal is to work on issues that help make this world worth living.
Currently, she is raising both money and awareness for Purtana, an organization committed to end human trafficking. Amrita believes in Putana’s motto of either to accept conditions as they exist or take responsibility to change them and Amritahas accepted the responsibility. She intends to work with charitable organizations and platforms to continuously strive for improved living conditions for humans.
Amrita Chehil is a financial adviser and a mother of a 16-month-old beautiful daughter and she strongly believes that we should not let our small mind tell us that our dreams are too big.
Mrs India Worldwide is a beauty pageant that draws contestants from India and from the Indian diaspora in other countries. The winner of the contestant was Vidhi Dave. Amrita Chehil was the first runner up. Sowmya Sexena, also of Ohio was the second runner up.
The pageant is conducted by Indian Festival Committee (IFC), founded and headed by Dharmatma Saran in New York City, USA. This pageant has been conducted for 37 years. This year, the Miss/Teen and Mrs. India USA pageant happened in New Jersey on February 17th, 2019 and three contestants from each state participated.
